Healthcare Cubicle Curtains

Creative Draperies has a full line of 72" fabrics that can meet the demands of heathcare institutions. We have a range of choices for any budget, and anti-microbial finishes are available. We offer Woven Jacquards, Dyed Dobbie, and "Integral Mesh" fabrics, which are a totally seamless application with manufactured heights up to 99”, including 20”/22” of Integral Mesh.

Cubicle curtains use fabrics that pass NFPA 701 and small scale test method #1 for fire retardancy, durability, laundry temperature, and fade resistance.

Hems are 1 ½ inch double rolled, clean finish, with a double needle lockstitch for durability. Seams are flat, double turned, reversible, double needle lockstitched. We use a two-piece, rustproof aluminum ½ inch grommet, spaced not more than 6” inches apart.

Cubicle curtains typically are the same width as the track with 10% added for fullness. Tolerances are +/- 6 inches in width and +/- 1 inch in length. Curtains are usually 15 inches from the floor.

All fabrics used for cubicle curtains are typically used for healthcare bedspreads. However any fabrics offered by us can be used.

To determine the size cubicle curtain needed, first measure from the track to the desired distance above the floor (usually 10 to 15 inches). That is the HEIGHT.

Once you have the height, you need to calculate the desired TOTAL LENGTH. In the image above we show only three of numerous configurations. The measuring is the same for each one. Get the total length of the TRACK - being sure to include the corners. In the first example the length will be the length of A. In the second example the TOTAL length will be the length of A, plus the length of B, plus the length of the curve. In the third example, the TOTAL length will the length of A, plus the length of B, plus the length of C, plus the length of the curved portion of the track.

Once you have the TOTAL track length, add 10% to it. This is crucial. In other words if the total length of track was 250 inches, then the total length of fabric needed would be 250 inches PLUS 10% (25 inches), for a TOTAL of 275 inches.
